The Development Team is currently updating the Mamboforge to the new GForge 4.0.1. During the setup process the core team wants the community to decide which CVS they would like to use in the future. Currently the developer platform Mamboforge is using the classical CVS, but there are thoughts to move to subversion. There has been opened up a poll in the official forum to let you decide:

Subversion is another open source CVS system, which has been heavily improved against the classical CVS. It was developed by Tigris, an open source community similar to Sourceforge. Although SV is not widely known, there are already solutions for all plattforms. For Windows there i.e. exists a SV clone of the popular Tortoise client. More informations can be found here:
