Last week Mambo's new project Manager Andrew Eddie announced the split of the development team into two new sub teams. He also delayed the integration of new features untill Mambo 5.0, which will probably be ready mid 2005.

Other CMS like typo3 have a lot more features already, which are badly missed in Mambo. Multilanguage support, Multi Domain support, a flexible rights management with unlimited groups, Admin languages or complete documentations, to name just a few.

And while we delay new features, other CMS are constantly improving their features. So are we loosing the feature battle against other CMS?
