Johan Janssens, DOCMan's project manager, informed me about a new update of the download and document manager component today:

"This is an intermediate release to allow more efficient testing of 1.3. This means there will be a 'last and final beta 4'. Beta 3 isn't just a bug fix release it also holds alot of new features."

The new beta 3 introduces some nice new features:The output now is xhtml 1.0 transitional valid and you can use css to completely style the frontend. Another cool new feature are the mambot triggers which allow developpers to create DOCMan mambot's for the new onBeforeDownload and onAfterDownload events. I updated the filebase to this new version:
