4.5.2 state of development |

Today Robert Castley published a small news about the current state of Mambo's development. Actually the Development Team has started working at Mambo 4.5.2 already. The following changes have been made already:
- Images are now stored in a new root directory, which will be maintained using the Media Manager.
- Template designers can now create their own offline pages.
- GeSHi, an open source syntax highlightening library, will replace the ols moscode Mambot.
- The integration of the ADODB database access layer has been started.
- The language file syntax has been changed to the new OOP based language files planed for Mambo 4.6.
- As announced earlier all PDF functions have been removed.
- The format of the configuration.php has been changed to provide better performance and increased security.
- The administrator directory is now moveable.
- The first support for web services has been implemented with XML-RPC support.
