Many people know Pedro Goncalves from the components he developed for the community. Even during the development of his commercial Support Center component, he supported the community in releasing alpha and beta versions for free. He also won an award for best developing two month ago. Therefore we decided to talk with Pedro for our Who is Who section. Read on to see his interview.

Mambo and You

When did you get in contact with Mambo?
I had contact with Mambo from a friend and this that time is was love at first sight. :D

What is your current role in the Mambo community?
Right now I have a couple components available to everyone, either free or commercial, and some made by request.

Do you have any Mambo projects beside the above?
Yes, I developed around 10 components so far and many more planned for future.

What are you doing, when you are not working for Mambo?
I'm a developer in a IT company and currently I'm developing a couple of applications to the automotive market.

About Mambo

What is Mambo's biggest advantage against other CMS?
This should say everything: "Mess with the best and die like the rest!" and the community environment is great as well as the development team.

And the biggest disadvantage?
Multi-language support :(

Where do you see Mambo in the future?
The best CMS available and in 10 years we will even speak with us, lol
