Mambo and You

When did you get in contact with Mambo?
About 2 years ago (2002) but I started using it in 2003 when installation became easier.

What is your current role in the Mambo community?
I do a lot of testing and make analyses for Mambo Add ons like MAL, MamCom, etc. A bit programming too but most of the time my partner John Long (nickname Konlong) takes part of that tasks.

Do you have any Mambo projects beside the above?
Yes, I give Mambo support to several people and companies (some international, some local). I also design templates when I have time but also work together with other designers.

What are you doing, when you are not working for Mambo?
Selling Mercis, an ERP solution.

About Mambo

What is Mambo's biggest advantage against other CMS?
It's so easily to adapt, to add stuff like components & modules but certainly the mambots are a advantage that make Mambo better than any other system including typo3.

And the biggest disadvantage?
The community is not always looking in the same direction.

Where do you see Mambo in the future?
I believe Mambo will be the CMS of the future. When releasing about version 5 or 5.1 Mambo will be very BIG! If it rest stable as it is now then it will the number one in 2006.

Your final word to the community?
Thanks to you all, Mambo rocks!
