After the succes with AkoBook, which was my first component for Mambo, I'm currently developing a second badly needed component: a picture gallery. The new component will be called AkoGallery. Currently I'm working at an early alpha version which already features a hit counter, users can rate and comment pictures and it has multipage support.

The next things are admin interface, picture upload and automatic thumbnail creation (based on gd). I also hope the AkoBook Team will help me again on multilanguage support and bug fixing. A beta will be up within the next week and hopefully the final will be short before my wedding (06/28/03).
