Links to other websites are no one way route. They should be a give and take. So I will check all websites in the next days, if the link back to mamboportal.com. If not, they will be removed from the list.
Furthermore I will release a Partner Module the next days. Mamboportal.com Partners will be listed in their own category and will have a button link in the module. To become a partner you will have to do the same for Mamboportal.com and use the same Partner module with a link back to my site. |

I have begun to reorganize Mamboportal.com. First of all the website has been changed to the official terminology from the Mambo 4.5 roadmap. This means themes is replaced by templates and I splitted up the news between modules and components.
A second step was to make the content parts of Mamboportal.com (forum, downloads, etc..) only available for registered users. I won't accept any Anonymous talking rubbish about my work any longer. If you want to profit from my work on this website, just register and you can use the site as always.
In the next days some more changes will follow. I will blow up the article base a little bit, so stay tuned.... |

While visting the official Mambo site today, I saw an announcement about mambotemplates.co.uk. Miro and Mambotemplates.co.uk have teamed up and you can win 6 month of free hosting. This announcement on the official page gave Mambotemplates over 70 guests online at the same time.
I bring daily news about Mambo to the community for weeks and nobody from Miro has ever contacted me about anything. For me this is a sign for the commercial background and interests of Mambo. Maybe it will never be really free. It makes me really sad the Miro pushes some pages and on the other hand people are saying my templates are looking like some ugly WindowsXp desktops.
Am I fighting against windmills??? |

I always get asked about how to release a theme, module or component on mamboportal.com. This is no problem! File contributions are always welcome. The way to publish on this site is pretty easy:
- Make sure your script / theme is working on actual Mambo Version 4.0.12
- Write a small install document for the users.
- Pack all needed files to one Winzip file.
- Send an E-Mail to
This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it
and attach the file.
- Please include your correct name, your sites url and if running a demo url.
- Give me a day or two to check it all, upload it and publish it.
