Our sistersite Mamboreport.de migrated to Mambo 4.5.1 during the last days. Webmaster Christian Hent informed us, that his main intention was to finally get rid of the recent threats from Brian Conolly.
"Actually I do want to have the freedom to do what I want at my website in the future. I'm still firmly convinced, that Connolly is wrong."
Mamboreport.de, which is Germany's No1 Mambo news resource, therefore choosed Mambo 4.5.1, which is free of any claims. They are currently using AkoBook, AkoComments and DocMan as their main component combined with the AkoBrightPortal template. Christian Hent encourages everyone to also update to Mambo 4.5.1. His website can be found here:

Sadly I had a small typo in AkoBook 3.4, which has been released yesterday. Due to this error the pagination did not work. I fixed it today and released AkoBook 3.41. The new version also now has a chinese translation. I'm really sorry about it, but please redownload the file and just upload the files to the according directories. Thanks.

Matt Smith sadly stopped the development of his ReMOSitory component and retreats himself from the Mambo community. Matt is too busy at the moment to spend any time with Mambo. Matt:
"I have stopped development on ReMOSitory for some time (other than one minor fix a little while ago), but I was made aware of a security bug in ReMOSitory. [...] The mambo.clippersoft site will soon be taken down, as I see no point in the future where I will have the time to be able to provide work to the Mambo community with a resonable level of quality and support. Thank you all for your continuing efforts to make Mambo a solution and a community."
As sad news, as Mambo looses one of it's great developers. Matt, we will never forget your MiniBB component (a forum, long before Simpleboard was even thought about) and without your Downloads component Mamboportal.com would never get so big. Thanks for all your efforts to the Mambo community.
