Meint Post has released a new version of the TinyMCE editor bot for Mambo 4.5.1 today. His TinyMCE4Mambo comes with a bunch of new features and is much more powerfully than the core version of TinyMCE. The most significant feature is the availability of your current templates CSS tags. Besides this many other functions has been slightly improved. If you work with this cross-browser HTML editor, you should update to this version. You can download this Mambot from our filebase. |

Alex Sancho has released a new template for Mambo 4.5.1 today. The template is called Minimal and it is an extraordinary template. Minimal is a bright, fixed width template, which comes with a large header image, a horizontal css menu and only one large content column. It has no left and right module positions. jd has released a new hack for Mambo 4.5.1 today called jSectionAuth. If you use Mambo for an Intranet and have employees working in different departments with they own announcement boards, this hack is for you. It allows your 'Author' users to publish their articles only in given category. You can download the hack from our filebase, but don't forget to backup. |

Today it came to my attention that a german company called Capuno Software has offered Mambo on eBay. People could buy Mambo for 59 Euro (80 US Dollars). The package also includes a lot other free software such as AkoBook, Docman or Simpleboard. I have contacted Capuno Software and asked them for their point of view, but got no answer yet.
