We are proud to announce the release of a new template called AkoCleanBizz today. The new design is a bright and clean business template for company and organisations websites. The fixed width template is mainly white and blue colored. It is available for sale since today over at MamboShop.com.
Besides all known features such as seven fully integrated module positions or live bookmark support, AkoCleanBizz comes with a bunch if extras. To give our customers the possibility to instantly use the template, while also make it easy to change the look of the design, we included: - 200 large header images with and without icons
- 100 small header images for more space on content pages
- 100 flash movies with 12 different effects and editable company name and slogan
- 100 page backgrounds especially designed for the template
- 50 colored backgrounds for the left side
Of course you will find Photoshop and SwishMax sources for all files in the distribution. We also included a large, 15 pages big manual covering all aspects of the template and the customization process. During this week we made several changes at Mambers.com, our forum community. First of all we are very proud that we reached 100,000 post this week. With this large amount of Mambo related posts and more than 17,000 users, we are the second largest Mambo forum besides the official forum.
The most significant change this week is the new design at Mamers.com. We decided to update our template to a new, more clean and professional design. We hope you all like it and if you nod have seen it, you should definitely visit Mambers.com today. Besides the design, we welcome andreadesign as a new administrator at Mambers.com. He did a great job in the very strong italian community and we therefore decided to give him more flexibility in his community. We also updated the languages at Mambers.com and do now support Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish. For the near future we will add more moderators and foreign language communities to Mambers.com. If you do want to take over a moderation job or do want to start a foreign language community, please contact us over at Mambers.com. |

Today I added the latest version of Mambo, version 4.5.2.1, to the filebase here at Mamboportal.com. According to the Development Team the version is fully backward compatible with Mambo 4.5.1. So you should have no problems running existing 4.5.1 CMT's on this version. The new 4.5.2.1 release is mainly a bugfixed version, which does not introduce much new features:
- Menu will be hidden, when you edit/add content items. (Personally I find this one more disturbing than usefull. It's not a bug, it's a feature... :-)
- Solar Flare II has been added as new standard template
- The help system has been reworked. It has been cleaned up, finally supports html help files and 3rd party developers now can at help text to their CMT's.
- Some smaller changes have been made at the build in component's and module's like Contact now supports V-Card download and an email cloaking Mambot has been added (thumbs up for this badly needed feature!).

Many people may have wondered, where I had been the last two weeks. I could not maintain the websites and also could not answer any emails as I had to stay in a hospital. After working the last years very hard, daily in my regular job and on Mambo things at night, my body pulled the brakes two weeks ago. I do not want to go in detail right now, but I want to inform you, that I am back. I still have to take things easy for the next weeks, so please do not await any wonders this week. As I have more than unread 1.500 unread emails, it would be great if you do not send any mails at the moment. Please contact me only, if you have any very, very urgent issue. I will contact my staff members this week and we will discuss the future of Mamboportal and Mambers. I definitely will and have to expand the team, so any volunteers are welcomed. Please discuss this on Mambers.com at the moment. Thanks for your understanding. |
