I have reorganised the Download Section. It's divided into four subsection. These are:
- Themes: This is where the Mambo designs, called Themes, are placed.
- Components: Here you can find Components, which appear in the main menu and have their output in the content area.
- Modules: New blocks for the left or right side, called Modules, are stored in here.
- Addons: All extra things about Mambo will be placed in here.

The long awaited new version of Matt's Download component for Mambo will go private beta status this week. Matt:
"It shouldn't be extremely difficult to do an upgrade. About the only time consuming part will be ripping possible information out of your descriptions and placing them in some of the new fields. The rest should be pretty automatic. I even added in an automated filecount piece, so after you upgrade, you can click on that and all the category/folder filecounts will be properly displayed. I hope to get it out to dev testing this week."
We're all looking forward to the new version which includes a lot more features. For a full list visit Matt's site over at http://mambo.clippersoft.net/. |

Oliver Martini released a new version of his guestbook component for Mambo. His new version comes with easy installation support, multiple languages and some minor fixes and enhancements. I updated the filebase to version 1.3 so feel free to download.
Note: A small bug was fixed on this version on April 25th. I updated the file again on that date. So if your version dosn't work correct, get the new one. |
